See those tears glistening,
Like drops of diamonds on your cheeks.
Maybe it's because I like to see you vulnerable,
Because it gives me a chance to hold you tight
Squirming in my arms
Crying your heart out...

Maybe it's because I love to see that expression on your face,
Your eyes sad,
A river of emotions rolling, flowing...
Maybe it's because I love the way you shudder
Crying, crying crying...
And me, knowing that I'm the only blanket of warmth around you
To envelope you in me, so you may shiver no more.

My baby I love to see you cry!
Even though it breakes my heart to see you sad.
Maybe it's because I want you to know I'm there for you,
Maybe because I want you to know I care.
Maybe it's because I want to be the only one to make you smile
